Amending O. Reg. 137/15

(GENERAL)

1. Ontario Regulation 137/15 is amended by adding the following section:

Fees during closures under the Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act, 2020

88.7 (1) No provider of a before and after school program shall charge or collect a fee in respect of the program during any period that the program is required to be closed pursuant to Ontario Regulation 82/20 (Rules for Areas in Stage 1) made under the Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act, 2020.

(2) A provider that is required to be closed as described in subsection (1) shall not, upon reopening, penalize any person who did not pay fees to the provider in respect of the before and after school program while the program was closed.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
