Amending O. Reg. 413/05

(VEHICLE WEIGHTS AND DIMENSIONS - FOR SAFE, PRODUCTIVE AND INFRASTRUCTURE-FRIENDLY VEHICLES)

1. Ontario Regulation 413/05 is amended by adding the following section:

Notice of suspension etc. of special permit

36.1 (1) For the purposes of clauses 110.3 (3) (c) and 110.4 (3) (c) of the Act, sending the notice by email to the latest email address the permit holder provided to the Ministry is prescribed as a means of giving notice.

(2) Notice given by email is deemed to have been received on the first business day after it was sent.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 1 of Schedule 18 to the Plan to Build Ontario Together Act, 2019 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
