APPLICATION OF NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATIONS ACT, 2010
Application of Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010
1. (1) The following provisions of the Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010 apply in respect of CPA Ontario, subject to the modifications set out in subsection (2) and such other modifications as may be necessary:
1. Section 5.
2. Section 15.
3. Subsection 16 (3).
4. Section 29.
5. Subsection 34 (6).
6. Section 35.
7. Section 37.
8. Sections 43 to 45.
9. Subsections 53 (4) and (5).
10. Section 61.
11. Section 67.
12. Section 82.
13. Section 87.
14. Section 96.
15. Sections 166 to 168.
16. Section 199.
(2) For the purposes of subsection (1),
(a) any reference to a “director” shall be read as a reference to an elected member or appointed individual of the council of CPA Ontario;
(b) any reference to an “officer” shall be read as a reference to an officer of CPA Ontario; and
(c) any reference to a “member” shall be read as a reference to a member of CPA Ontario.
Commencement
2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day subsection 72 (3) of Schedule 3 to the Stronger, Healthier Ontario Act (Budget Measures), 2017 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
