Amending Reg. 619 of R.R.O. 1990

(SPEED LIMITS)

1. Section 7 of Regulation 619 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by adding the following subsection:

(4) Despite paragraph 10 of Part 3 of Schedule 10, no person shall operate a motor vehicle at a greater rate of speed than 60 kilometres per hour on days during which school is regularly held between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 8 in Flamborough in the City of Hamilton beginning at a point situate 50 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Concession 4 West and extending northerly for a distance of 750 metres.

2. Paragraph 3 of Part 5 of Schedule 4 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

East Flamborough in the City of Hamilton

3.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 5 in East Flamborough in the City of Hamilton lying between a point situate at its intersection with the line between lots 7 and 8 in Concession 3 and a point situate 312 feet measured westerly from its intersection with the line between lots 8 and 9 in the said Concession 3.

3. (1) Paragraph 14 of Part 3 of Schedule 5 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

Bruce — Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula — community of Ferndale to the community of Tobermory

14.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 6 in the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula in the County of Bruce lying between a point situate 838 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Bruce County Road 9 North Junction in the community of Ferndale and a point situate 295 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Cape Hurd Road in the community of Tobermory.

(2) Paragraph 17 of Part 3 of Schedule 5 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

Bruce — Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula — community of Wiarton

17.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 6 in the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula in the County of Bruce lying between a point situate 365 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Jenny Street in the community of Wiarton and a point situate 419 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Bruce County Road 9 North Junction.

(3) Paragraph 25 of Part 3 to Schedule 5 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

25.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 6 in Flamborough in the City of Hamilton lying between a point situate 345 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the northerly limit of the King’s Highway known as No. 5 and a point situate 440 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the north junction of the roadway known as the Hamilton-Wentworth/Wellington County Line (Maddaugh Road).

(4) Paragraph 2 of Part 5 of Schedule 5 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

2.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 6 in Flamborough in the City of Hamilton lying between a point situate 340 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the northerly limit of the King’s Highway known as No. 5 and a point situate 345 metres measured northerly from the said intersection.

(5) Paragraphs 12 to 14 of Part 5 of Schedule 5 to the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:

Bruce — Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula — community of Ferndale

12.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 6 in the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula in the County of Bruce lying between a point situate 419 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Bruce County Road 9 North Junction and a point situate 838 metres measured northerly from its intersection of the centre line of the roadway known at Bruce County Road 9 North Junction in the community of Ferndale.

13.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 6 in the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula in the County of Bruce lying between a point situate 295 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Cape Hurd Road and a point situate 588 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Nicholas Street in the community of Tobermory.

Flamborough in the City of Hamilton

County of Wellington — Twp. of Puslinch, Hamlet of Puslinch

14.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 6 in Flamborough in the City of Hamilton beginning at a point situate 440 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the north junction of the roadway known as the Hamilton-Wentworth/Wellington County Line (Maddaugh Road) and extending northerly for a distance of 1385 metres from the said intersection in the Hamlet of Puslinch in the Township of Puslinch in the County of Wellington.

(6) Paragraph 1 of Part 6 of Schedule 5 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

Bruce — Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula — community of Tobermory

1.  Those parts of the King’s Highway known as No. 6 in the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula in the County of Bruce lying between,

(a)  a point situate 588 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Nicholas Street and a point situate with the centre line of the roadways known as Big Tub Road/Hayes Crescent and Front Street in the community of Tobermory;

(b)  a point situate at the centre line of the roadways known as Big Tub Road/Hayes Crescent and Front Street and a point situate with the centre line of the roadways known as Front Street and Eliza Street in the community of Tobermory;

(c)  a point situate at its intersection with the centre line of the roadways known as Front Street and Eliza Street and a point situate with the centre line of the roadways known as Eliza Street and Carlton Street in the community of Tobermory; and

(d)  a point situate with the centre line of the roadways known as Eliza Street and Carlton Street and a point situate with the centre line of the roadways known as Highway No. 6 and Carlton Street in the community of Tobermory.

4. Paragraphs 9 and 10 of Part 3 of Schedule 10 to the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:

9.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 8 in the Township of North Dumfries in The Regional Municipality of Waterloo lying between a point situate 2250 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the easterly limit of the roadway known as Waterloo Regional Road No. 97 and a point situate at its intersection with the west junction of the King’s Highway known as Nos. 8 and 52 in Flamborough in the City of Hamilton.

10.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 8 in Flamborough in the City of Hamilton lying between a point situate at its intersection with the roadway known as Hamilton-Wentworth Regional Road No. 552 and a point situate at its intersection with the northerly limit of the King’s Highway known as No. 5.

5. Paragraphs 2 and 3 of Part 3 of Schedule 235 to the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:

2.  That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 52 in Flamborough in the City of Hamilton lying between a point situate at its intersection with the southerly limit of the roadway known as the Gore Road and a point situate at its intersection with the northerly limit of the roadway known as Hamilton-Wentworth Regional Road No. 97.

3.  That part of the King’s Highway known as Nos. 8 and 52 in Flamborough in the City of Hamilton lying between a point situate at its intersection with the west junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 8 and the King’s Highway known as No. 52 and a point situate at its intersection with the east junction of the said King’s Highways.

6. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
