Amending O. Reg. 321/12

(CLASSES OF MEMBERS AND REGISTRATION)

1. Section 8 of Ontario Regulation 321/12 is amended by adding the following subsection:

(2.2) Despite anything to the contrary in this section,

(a) a statement of membership that expired on or after December 1, 2021 but before the day Ontario Regulation 861/21 came into force is deemed to be valid from that day until July 31, 2022; and

(b) the term of a statement of membership that expires on or after the day Ontario Regulation 861/21 came into force but before the day subsection 65 (1) of the Building Opportunities in the Skilled Trades Act, 2021 comes into force is extended to July 31, 2022.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
