Amending Reg. 619 of R.R.O. 1990

(SPEED LIMITS)

1. (1) Schedule 124 to Regulation 619 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by adding the following Part:

Part 0.1

Essex — Town of Lakeshore — Town of Tecumseh

1. That part of the westbound lanes of the King’s Highway known as No. 401 in the County of Essex lying between a point situate 1,835 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Essex County Road 42 in the Town of Lakeshore and a point situate 2,675 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Essex County Road 46 (also known as Provincial Road) in the Town of Tecumseh.

Essex — Town of Lakeshore — Town of Tecumseh

2. That part of the eastbound lanes of the King’s Highway known as No. 401 in the County of Essex lying between a point situate 2,020 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Essex County Road 42 in the Town of Lakeshore and a point situate 1,255 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Essex County Road 46 (also known as Provincial Road) in the Town of Tecumseh.

(2) Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 124 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry

1. That part of the westbound lanes of the King’s Highway known as No. 401 lying between a point situate at its intersection with the Ontario-Quebec boundary in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry and a point situate 1,835 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Essex County Road 42 in the Town of Lakeshore in the County of Essex.

(3) Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 124 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry

3. That part of the eastbound lanes of the King’s Highway known as No. 401 lying between a point situate at its intersection with the Ontario-Quebec boundary in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry and a point situate 2,020 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Essex County Road 42 in the Town of Lakeshore in the County of Essex.

Essex — Town of Tecumseh — City of Windsor

4. That part of the westbound lanes of the King’s Highway known as No. 401 in the County of Essex lying between a point situate 2,675 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Essex County Road 46 (also known as Provincial Road) in the Town of Tecumseh and a point situate 695 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Lambton Road in the City of Windsor.

Essex — Town of Tecumseh — City of Windsor

5. That part of the eastbound lanes of the King’s Highway known as No. 401 in the County of Essex lying between a point situate 1,255 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Essex County Road 46 (also known as Provincial Road) in the Town of Tecumseh and a point situate 190 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the King’s Highway known as No. 7902 (also known as Ojibway Parkway) in the City of Windsor.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of April 22, 2022 and the day this Regulation is filed.
