Amending Reg. 950 of R.R.O. 1990

(PROCEEDINGS COMMENCED BY CERTIFICATE OF OFFENCE)

1. Schedule 43 to Regulation 950 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by adding the following items:

 

	540.1.1	Drive commercial motor vehicle contrary to prohibition	subsection 190 (6.2)
	540.1.2	Permit driving of commercial motor vehicle contrary to prohibition	subsection 190 (6.2)

 

2. Schedule 51 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following items:

 

78.	Fail to immediately notify operator of prohibition	clause 32 (a)
79.	Fail to forward prohibition notice within 20 days	clause 32 (b)

 

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the latest of the following days:

1.  January 1, 2023.

2.  The day subsection 16 (2) of Schedule 1 to the Moving Ontarians More Safely Act, 2021 comes into force.

3.  The day this Regulation is filed.
