Provincial priorities

Provincial priorities

1. The following are provincial priorities prescribed for the purposes of sections 284.10, 284.11 and 284.11.1 of the Act:

1.  Building 1.5 million new residential units by December 31, 2031.

2.  Constructing and maintaining infrastructure to support housing, including,

i.  transit,

ii.  roads,

iii.  utilities, and

iv.  servicing.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 8 of Schedule 3 to the Better Municipal Governance Act, 2022 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
