Amending O. Reg. 107/96

(CONTROLLED ACTS)

1. Subsection 7.1 (1) of Ontario Regulation 107/96 is amended by striking out the portion before clause (a) and substituting the following:

(1) A member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario, a member of the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario or a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario other than a member who is a registered nurse in the extended class is exempt from subsection 27 (1) of the Act for the purpose of applying soundwaves for diagnostic ultrasound if the application is ordered by a member with ordering authority, and the soundwaves for diagnostic ultrasound are applied,

2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
