Amending O. Reg. 398/93

(DESIGNATION OF PUBLIC SERVICE AGENCIES)

1. (1) Paragraph 9 of section 1 of Ontario Regulation 398/93 is amended by striking out “Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities” at the end and substituting “Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development”.

(2) Paragraph 20.1 of section 1 of the Regulation is amended by striking out the portion before subparagraph i and substituting the following:

20.1  Canadian Mental Health Association, North Bay and District in respect of the following programs carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Health:

(3) Paragraphs 21, 22, 38, 38.1 and 49 of section 1 of the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:

21.  Canadian Mental Health Association, Sudbury/Manitoulin in respect of the programs carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Health.

22.  Canadian Mental Health Association Cochrane Timiskaming Branch in respect of the Family Resource Centre and the Community Outreach Program carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services and in respect of the programs carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Health.

38.  Centre de santé communautaire Hamilton/Niagara in respect of the programs carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Health.

(4) Paragraph 81.0.1 of section 1 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development” at the end and substituting “Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development”.

(5) Paragraphs 100, 129, 147 and 165.1 of section 1 of the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:

100.  Employment and Education Resource Centre of Cornwall and District Inc. operating under the name Job Zone d’emploi in respect of the programs carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development and the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.

(6) Paragraphs 71, 134, 144.2 and 217 of section 1 of the Regulation are revoked.

(7) Section 1 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraphs:

63.1  CHEO in respect of the programs carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Health and in respect of the following programs carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services:

i.  Community-Based Rehabilitation Services.

ii.  Infant and Child Development Program.

iii.  School-Based Rehabilitation Services.

iv.  Coordinated Services Planning & Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Worker/Coordinator Services.

v.  Respite Services including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Respite.

vi.  Specialized Community Support (Children Behaviour Intervention).

vii.  Specialized Community Support (Children Assessment & Counselling).

viii.  Development Services: Professional & Specialized Adult Services.

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2024 and the day this Regulation is filed.
