Amending O. Reg. 449/07

(GENERAL)

1. (1) Paragraph 2 of section 3 of Ontario Regulation 449/07 is revoked and the following substituted:

2.  Members of a police service and First Nation Officers, as those terms are defined in subsection 2 (1) of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019.

(2) Paragraph 9 of section 3 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

9.  Special constables appointed under section 92 of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 who are not members of a police service.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day subsection 2 (1) of Schedule 1 (Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019) to the Comprehensive Ontario Police Services Act, 2019 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
