Amending O. Reg. 400/98

(TAX MATTERS - RATES FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES)

1. Ontario Regulation 400/98 is amended by adding the following section:

Subclass for Property Used for Aggregate Extraction — Subsection 257.7 (5) of the Act

12.1 For the 2024 taxation year, subsection 257.7 (3) of the Act applies to the subclass for property used for aggregate extraction except that the tax rate for school purposes for the subclass shall be reduced by 95 per cent.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
