Amending Reg. 553 of R.R.O. 1990

(AREAS COMPRISING HEALTH UNITS)

1. Schedule 2 to Regulation 553 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is revoked and the following substituted:

Schedule 2
Grand Erie HEALTH UNIT

1. The County of Brant.

2. The Corporation of Haldimand County

3. The Corporation of Norfolk County.

2. The Regulation is amended by adding the following Schedule:

Schedule 6
Haliburton Kawartha Northumberland Peterborough HEALTH UNIT

1. The County of Haliburton

2. The Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes.

3. The County of Northumberland

4. The City of Peterborough.

5. The County of Peterborough.

3. Schedules 9, 10, 13, 17 and 19 to the Regulation are revoked.

4. The Regulation is amended by adding the following Schedule:

Schedule 23.1
Northeastern HEALTH UNIT

1. All municipalities and geographic townships in the Territorial District of Cochrane.

2. Those parts of the territorial district of Kenora, described as follows:

Beginning at the southerly boundary of the Territorial District of Kenora; thence continuing northerly along a meridian line to the 212 Mile Post planted thereon by A. Tarvydas, Ontario Land Surveyor, in 1958; thence north astronomically to the intersection with the parallel of latitude 55° 00'; thence westerly along the 55th parallel of latitude to the intersection with the line of longitude 87° 00'; thence north astronomically along that line of longitude to the shore of Hudson Bay; thence southeasterly, southerly, southeasterly and northeasterly along the shore of Hudson Bay and James Bay to the Interprovincial Boundary between Ontario and Quebec; thence southerly along that Interprovincial Boundary.

3. The Township of Hornepayne and the following geographic townships in the Territorial District of Algoma:

2. The County of Hastings, including all the City of Quinte West and the Corporation of the County of Prince Edward.

3. The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville and the County of Lanark.

7. Schedule 38 to the Regulation is revoked.

Commencement

8. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2025 and the day this Regulation is filed.
