Amending O. Reg. 387/04

(WATER TAKING AND TRANSFER)

1. (1) Subsection 4.2 (9) of Ontario Regulation 387/04 is amended by adding “section” before “20.18”.

(2) Section 4.2 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:

(10) Subsection 34 (1) of the Act does not apply to a person who takes less than 379,000 litres of water per day by means of a sewage works where the only purpose of the sewage works is to collect, transmit, treat and dispose of ground water and storm water taken from the foundation of a building that is used, or is intended to be used, primarily for a residential purpose.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of July 1, 2025 and the day this Regulation is filed.
