Amending O. Reg. 224/98

(ASSISTANCE FOR CHILDREN WITH SEVERE DISABILITIES)

1. Subsection 1 (2) of Ontario Regulation 224/98 is revoked and the following substituted:

(2) Despite the definition of “income” in subsection (1), the following payments shall not be included in income:

1. Payments from a registered disability savings plan, as defined in subsection 146.4 (1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada).

2. Canada Disability Benefit payments under the Canada Disability Benefit Act.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on July 1, 2025 or, if this Regulation is filed after that day, this Regulation is deemed to have come into force on that day.
