Amending O. Reg. 169/21
(ZONING ORDER — CITY OF MARKHAM, REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF YORK)
1. (1) Paragraph 3 of section 4 of Ontario Regulation 169/21 is revoked and the following substituted:
3. The minimum distance between buildings is,
i. 11 metres between two exterior walls of adjacent buildings that contain doors or windows,
ii. 5.5 metres between an exterior wall of a building that contains doors or windows and an adjacent exterior wall of a building that contains no doors or windows, and
iii. 0.0 metres between two exterior walls of adjacent buildings that contain no doors or windows.
(2) Paragraph 4 of section 4 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “53” and substituting “135”.
(3) Paragraph 5 of section 4 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “400” and substituting “480”.
(4) Paragraph 7 of section 4 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subparagraph:
v. During construction on lands described in subsection 2 (1), the requirement set out in section 3.0 of City of Markham Parking Standards By-law 28-97 to provide parking on the lands does not apply and instead parking spaces may be provided off-site.
(5) Paragraph 8 of section 4 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:
8. The maximum building floor area is 850 square metres for each storey above a parking podium for any building with a minimum setback of,
i. 111 metres from the lot line abutting Apple Creek Boulevard, and
ii. 78 metres from the lot line abutting Woodbine Avenue.
Commencement
2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
