Amending Reg. 615 of R.R.O. 1990

(SIGNS)

1. Subsections 5.2 (5) and (7) of Regulation 615 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 are amended by striking out “an area designated under the French Language Services Act” and substituting “an area designated for the purposes of clause 5 (1) (b) of the French Language Services Act”.

2. Subsections 42 (3) and (5) of the Regulation are amended by striking out “an area designated in the Schedule to the French Language Services Act” and substituting “an area designated for the purposes of clause 5 (1) (b) of the French Language Services Act”.

3. Section 51 of the Regulation is revoked.

4. The Regulation is amended by striking out “an area designated by the French Language Services Act” wherever it appears and substituting in each case “an area designated for the purposes of clause 5 (1) (b) of the French Language Services Act”.

Commencement

5. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day subsection 7 (3) of Schedule 13 to the Build Ontario Act (Budget Measures), 2021 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
