Amending Reg. 552 of R.R.O. 1990

(GENERAL)

1. (1) The definition of “schedule of laboratory benefits” in subsection 1 (1) of Regulation 552 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is revoked and the following substituted:

“schedule of laboratory benefits” means the document published by the Ministry of Health titled “Schedule of Benefits for Laboratory Services”, dated November 25, 2025 (effective as of December 15, 2025), which is available on a website of the Government of Ontario;

(2) The definition of “schedule of laboratory benefits” in subsection 1 (1) of the Regulation, as amended by subsection (1), is revoked and the following substituted:

“schedule of laboratory benefits” means the document published by the Ministry of Health titled “Schedule of Benefits for Laboratory Services”, dated November 26, 2025 (effective as of April 1, 2026), which is available on a website of the Government of Ontario;

Commencement

2. (1) Except as otherwise provided in this section, this Regulation comes into force on the later of December 15, 2025 and the day this Regulation is filed.

(2) Subsection 1 (2) comes into force on April 1, 2026.
