Amending O. Reg. 383/00

(REGISTRATION)

1. (1) The definition of “Agreement on Internal Trade” in section 2 of Ontario Regulation 383/00 is revoked.

(2) Section 2 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following definition:

“Canadian Free Trade Agreement” means the Canadian Free Trade Agreement as defined in the Ontario Labour Mobility Act, 2009; (“Accord de libre-échange canadien”)

(3) The definition of “out-of-province regulatory authority” in section 2 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

“out-of-province regulatory authority” means a body or individual that is authorized to grant an authorizing certificate under an Act of Canada or of a province or territory of Canada that is a party to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement, other than Ontario; (“autorité de réglementation extraprovinciale”)

2. Subparagraph 3 ii of section 7.1 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

ii. is stated on the website to be a permissible certification requirement for social work, adopted by the Government of Ontario under Article 707 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
