Amending O. Reg. 643/05

(CARRIAGE OF GOODS)

1. Section 3 of Ontario Regulation 643/05 is amended by adding the following subsection:

(3) Every carrier described in subsection (1) shall ensure that the evidence of the insurance mentioned in that subsection is carried in each motor vehicle operated by the carrier and the driver of such a motor vehicle shall surrender the evidence for reasonable inspection upon the demand of a police officer.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the latest of the following days:

1.  December 31, 2025.

2.  The day subsection 10 (2) of Schedule 7 to the Strengthening and Improving Government Act, 2015 comes into force.

3.  The day this Regulation is filed.
