Amending O. Reg. 298/12

(COLLECTION OF PHARMACEUTICALS AND SHARPS — RESPONSIBILITIES OF PRODUCERS)

1. Subparagraph 1 ii of subsection 6 (2) of Ontario Regulation 298/12 is revoked and the following substituted:

ii.  the operator of a waste management system,

A.  that is subject to an environmental compliance approval in respect of the collection, handling and transportation of the pharmaceuticals, sharps and containers to be collected, handled and transported, or

B.  for which a registration under Part II.2 of the Act is in effect in respect of the collection, handling and transportation referred to in subsubparagraph A.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
