Amending O. Reg. 191/11

(INTEGRATED ACCESSIBILITY STANDARDS)

1. (1) Section 80.1 of Ontario Regulation 191/11 is amended by adding the following definition:

“COSSARO” has the same meaning as in subsection 2 (1) of the Species Conservation Act, 2025; (“CDSEPO”)

(2) The definition of “species at risk” in section 80.1 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

“species at risk” means a species classified as extirpated, endangered or threatened or of special concern by the COSSARO;

2. Subsection 80.21 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Ontario Regulation 350/06” and substituting “Ontario Regulation 163/24”.

3. Clause 80.33 (2) (a) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Ontario Regulation 350/06” and substituting “Ontario Regulation 163/24”.

Commencement

4. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 1 of Schedule 10 (Species Conservation Act, 2025) to the Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act, 2025 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
