(DESIGNATION AND CLASSIFICATION OF PROVINCIAL PARKS)

1. (1) The item for Algoma Headwaters Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 to Ontario Regulation 316/07 is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Algoma Headwaters Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

In the Geographic Townships of Gapp, Gaudry, Hoffman, Handleman, Way-White, Wlasy, Bracci, Ewen, Ferrier and Butcher, Territorial District of Algoma, and in the Geographic Townships of Schembri, Sherratt, Carton, Carruthers, Neill, Patenaude and Beckett, Territorial District of Sudbury, containing 43,361 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 7, both inclusive, on a plan known as P273 Algoma Headwaters Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on February 24, 2003 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, and that area of land in the Geographic Township of Gapp, Territorial District of Algoma, designated as Parts 1, 2 and 3 on a plan known as Plan of the Boundary of the 2024 Algoma Headwaters Provincial Park Addition (Natural Environment Class), filed on December 19, 2025 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(2) The item for Awenda Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Awenda Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

In the Geographic Township of Tiny, Municipal Township of Tiny, County of Simcoe, containing 3,293 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1, 2 and 3 on a plan known as Plan of Awenda Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on December 5, 2025 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(3) The item for Bon Echo Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Bon Echo Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

The following areas, containing 8,298 hectares, more or less:
1.  In the Geographic Townships of Anglesea and Effingham, Municipal Township of Addington Highlands, County of Lennox and Addington, and in the Geographic Township of Barrie, Municipal Township of North Frontenac, County of Frontenac, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 7, both inclusive, on a plan known as Bon Echo Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) filed on August 27, 2004 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.
2.  In the Municipal Township of North Frontenac, County of Frontenac, the area being composed of part of Lot 26, Concession 16, Geographic Township of Barrie, as in instrument FR113068, comprising all of Property Identification Number 36181-0355 in the Land Titles Division of Frontenac (No. 13).

 

(4) The item for Boyne Valley Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Boyne Valley Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

In the Geographic Township of Mulmur, Municipal Township of Mulmur, County of Dufferin, containing 929 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1 to 4, both inclusive, on a plan known as Central-Boyne Valley, approved on behalf of the Regional Director on November 12, 1990 and filed in the office of the Regional Director for the Central Administrative Region of the Ministry of Natural Resources at Aurora, Ontario located in the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, and that area of land in the Geographic Township of Mulmur, Municipal Township of Mulmur, and in the Geographic Township of Melancthon, Municipal Township of Melancthon, County of Dufferin, designated as Parts 1 to 7, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of the 2025 Boyne Valley Provincial Park Addition (Natural Environment Class), filed on December 16, 2025 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(5) Table 1 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following item:

 

Cockburn Island Addition Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class)

In the Municipal Township of Cockburn Island, District of Manitoulin, containing 177 hectares, more or less, the areas being composed of the following:
1.  Lots 39 and 40, Concession 6, Geographic Township of Cockburn Island, comprising all of Property Identification Number 47100-0139 in the Land Titles Division of Manitoulin (No. 31).
2.  Lot 43, Concession 6, Geographic Township of Cockburn Island, comprising all of Property Identification Number 47100-0144 in the Land Titles Division of Manitoulin (No. 31).
3.  Lot 41, Concession 5, Geographic Township of Cockburn Island, comprising all of Property Identification Number 47100-0147 in the Land Titles Division of Manitoulin (No. 31).
4.  Lot 40, Concession 5, Geographic Township of Cockburn Island, comprising all of Property Identification Number 47100-0148 in the Land Titles Division of Manitoulin (No. 31).

 

(6) The item for Duncan Escarpment Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Duncan Escarpment Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class)

In the Geographic Township of Collingwood, Town of the Blue Mountains, County of Grey, containing 287 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1, 2 and 3 on a plan known as Plan of Duncan Escarpment Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class), filed on December 8, 2025 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(7) The item for Englehart River Fine Sand Plain and Waterway Provincial Park (Waterway Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Englehart River Fine Sand Plain and Waterway Provincial Park (Waterway Class)

The following areas, containing 4,102 hectares, more or less:
1.  In the Geographic Townships of Gross, Blain, Davidson, Sharpe, Truax and Robillard, Territorial District of Timiskaming, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1, 2 and 3 on a plan known as P1614 Englehart River Fine Sand Plain and Waterway Provincial Park (Waterway Class), filed on December 18, 2001 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.
2.  In the Territorial District of Timiskaming, the area being composed of the south half of Lot 4, Concession 1, Geographic Township of Gross, comprising all of Property Identification Number 61254-0002 in the Land Titles Division of Timiskaming (No. 54).

 

(8) The item for Esker Lakes Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Esker Lakes Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

In the Geographic Townships of Bisley and Clifford, Territorial District of Cochrane, and in the Geographic Township of Morrisette, Town of Kirkland Lake, and in the Geographic Township of Arnold, Territorial District of Timiskaming, containing 6,529 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 and 2 on a plan known as Esker Lakes Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on April 29, 2004 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, and that area of land in the Geographic Township of Morrisette, Town of Kirkland Lake, Territorial District of Timiskaming, designated as Part 1 on a plan known as Plan of the Boundary of the 2024 Esker Lakes Provincial Park Addition (Natural Environment Class), filed on December 5, 2025 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(9) The item for Ferris Provincial Park (Recreational Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Ferris Provincial Park (Recreational Class)

In the Geographic Township of Seymour, Municipality of Trent Hills, County of Northumberland, containing 216 hectares, more or less, being composed of that part of the said geographic township designated as Part 1 on a plan known as Plan of Ferris Provincial Park (Recreational Class), filed on July 18, 2023 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.

 

(10) Table 1 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following item:

 

Hay Marsh Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class)

In the Geographic Township of St. Joseph, Municipal Township of Jocelyn, Territorial District of Algoma, containing 195 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1 and 2 on a plan known as Plan of Hay Marsh Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class), filed on December 19, 2025 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(11) The item for Hockley Valley Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Hockley Valley Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class)

The following areas, containing 505 hectares, more or less:
1.  In the Geographic Township of Mono, Town of Mono, County of Dufferin, the area being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1 to 5, both inclusive, on a plan known as Central-Hockley Valley, approved on May 1, 1989 and filed in the office of the Regional Director for the Central Administrative Region of the Ministry of Natural Resources at Richmond Hill, Ontario located in the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.
2.  In the Town of Mono, County of Dufferin, the area being composed of:
i.  Part of Lot 12, Concession 1 East of Hurontario Street, Geographic Township of Mono, as in instrument MF106820, together with instrument MF106820, comprising all of Property Identification Number 34093-0022 in the Land Titles Division of Dufferin (No.7).
ii.  Part of Lot 11, Concession 2 East of Hurontario Street, Geographic Township of Mono, designated as Part 1 on Reference Plan 7R-896, Part 1 on Reference Plan 7R-895 and Part 1 on Reference Plan 7R-761, comprising all of Property Identification Number 34093-0075 in the Land Titles Division of Dufferin (No.7).
iii.  Part of Lots 11 to 14, both inclusive, Concession 3 East of Hurontario Street, Geographic Township of Mono, as in instruments MF64705, MF65065, MF159072, MF128492, MF67387 and MF68835, excepting Part 1 on Reference Plan 7R-2282, comprising all of Property Identification Number 34093-0124 in the Land Titles Division of Dufferin (No.7).
iv.  Part of Lot 11, Concession 2 East of Hurontario Street, Geographic Township of Mono, designated as Part 2 on Reference Plan 7R-5007, comprising all of Property Identification Number 34093-0156 in the Land Titles Division of Dufferin (No.7).
v.  Lot 13, Concession 2 East of Hurontario Street, and part of Lots 12 and 14, Concession 2 East of Hurontario Street, Geographic Township of Mono, as in instrument MF67057, together with instrument MF67057, comprising all of Property Identification Number 34093-0085 in the Land Titles Division of Dufferin (No. 7).

 

(12) The item for Nottawasaga Lookout Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Nottawasaga Lookout Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class)

In the Geographic Township of Nottawasaga, Municipal Township of Clearview, County of Simcoe, containing 269 hectares, more or less, being composed of that part of the said geographic township designated as Part 1 on a plan known as Plan of Nottawasaga Lookout Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class), filed on December 8, 2025 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(13) The item for Pretty River Valley Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Pretty River Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

In the Geographic Township Collingwood, Town of the Blue Mountains, County of Grey, containing 1,112 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1, 2 and 3 on a plan known as Plan of Pretty River Valley Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on December 5, 2025 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(14) The item for Sleeping Giant Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Sleeping Giant Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

In the Geographic Township of Sibley, Territorial District of Thunder Bay, containing 24,487 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1, 2 and 3 on a plan known as Northwest Region – Sleeping Giant Provincial Park, approved on August 26, 1991 and filed in the office of the Regional Director for the Northwest Administrative Region at Thunder Bay, Ontario located in the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, and that area of land in the Geographic Township of Sibley, Territorial District of Thunder Bay, designated as Parts 1 to 4, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of the 2025 Sleeping Giant Provincial Park Addition (Natural Environment Class), filed on December 5, 2025 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(15) The item for Turkey Point Provincial Park (Recreational Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Turkey Point Provincial Park (Recreational Class)

In the Geographic Township of Charlotteville, Norfolk County, containing 369 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1 to 8, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of Southwestern Turkey Point, approved on November 22, 1990 and filed in the office of the Regional Director for the Southwestern Administrative Region of the Ministry of Natural Resources at London, Ontario located in the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, and that area of land in the Geographic Township of Charlotteville, Norfolk County, designated as Parts 1 to 4, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of the 2025 Turkey Point Provincial Park Addition (Recreational Class), filed on December 5, 2025 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.
