Amending O. Reg. 20/25

(AUTHORITY TO GRANT ASSISTANCE - SECTION 106.1 OF THE ACT)

1. Ontario Regulation 20/25 is amended by adding the following section:

County of Oxford and Township of Norwich

Definitions

2. (1) In this section,

“assistance” means a total or partial exemption from the development charges imposed by the County of Oxford or the Township of Norwich under the Development Charges Act, 1997; (“aide”)

“assistance period” means the period that begins on May 7, 2026 and ends six months after that date. (“période d’aide”)

Assistance permitted

(2) The County of Oxford and the Township of Norwich may, in accordance with this section, grant assistance directly or indirectly to VDK Development Inc. during the assistance period.

Total amount of assistance

(3) The total amount of assistance that may be granted during the assistance period under subsection (2) shall not exceed,

(a)  $800,000, in the case of the County of Oxford; and

(b)  $400,000, in the case of the Township of Norwich.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
