Amending O. Reg. 90/24

(GENERAL MATTERS UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF THE MINISTER)

1. Ontario Regulation 90/24 is amended by adding the following section:

Requests for Temporary Assistance

Request for temporary assistance from other Canadian jurisdiction

1.1 The following are prescribed as entities that a chief of police may request to provide temporary assistance in accordance with subsection 19 (1.1) of the Act:

1. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

2. Every provincial, municipal or First Nation police service from any other Canadian jurisdiction.

3. The Canadian Coast Guard.

4. The Canadian Armed Forces.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
