Amending O. Reg. 573/22
(ADMINISTRATIVE PENALTIES)
1. Table 1 to Schedule 1 to Ontario Regulation 573/22 is amended by adding the following item:
| 7.1 | Subsection 53.2 (5) | Vendor who receives a notice of rescission from a purchaser fails to promptly refund money to the purchaser as described in the provision. | $50,000 |
2. Table 3 to Schedule 1 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following item:
| 13. | Section 20.1 | Licensee fails to refund all money paid by a purchaser or an owner of land or fails to pay interest on a refund as described in the provision. | $50,000 |
3. Table 4 to Schedule 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

Commencement
4. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 4 of Schedule 1 to the Homeowner Protection Act, 2024 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
