Non-Identifying Information (Adopted Person)
You can apply for non-identifying information from your adoption records at any time.
When you obtain non-identifying information it will provide you with information relating to your adoption that does not reveal the identity of anyone other than you. The information you receive will vary. It may include descriptions of birth relatives’ personalities, hobbies, talents, interests and physical appearances. Usually it will be provided in the form of copies of documents with identifying information removed. In some cases, you’ll get non-identifying information in summary format.
