Key responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advice and analysis on intergovernmental relations, international affairs and protocol, and the democratic institutions of government
- Enhance inter-ministerial collaboration and help ministries advance the intergovernmental elements of the government's key policy initiatives
- Ensure the federal government treats Ontario fairly when it comes to health care, climate change, immigration and child care
- Provide leadership in the Canadian federation and enhance Ontario's international image and profile
- Develop Ontario’s overall intergovernmental strategy
