The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, 2012 - February 6, 2012, will mark the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne.

Mission to China (October 30 – November 3, 2010) - Premier McGuinty led his third mission to China. The mission built on the results of previous missions and deepened the province's relationship with China by focusing on the Open Ontario Plan.

Royal Tour (July 3-6, 2010) - Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh visited Toronto and Kitchener-Waterloo.
