The Intergovernmental Affairs Division's Office of International Relations and Protocol advises on and organizes royal and official visits, business and trade delegations, and government conferences. It serves as the Ontario government’s point of contact with approximately 100 Heads of Mission representing foreign governments in Ontario, and provides guidelines on international protocol practices.
Besides its other duties, the Protocol section also responds to questions and requests from the general public.
