Forestry
Ontario’s Crown forests cover almost two-thirds of the province. The ministry manages the health of these forests so they can continue to provide ecological, economic and social benefits.
Roadmap to Protecting Ontario’s Forest Sector

Forest sector strategy
The forest sector strategy, released in 2020, has set a strong foundation for Ontario’s forest industry. To date the government has accomplished nearly 70% of the goals set by the strategy.
