Roadmap to Protecting Ontario’s Forest Sector

We’ve developed a new plan to defend Ontario’s forest sector, adapt forest sector businesses to meet evolving markets and grow the industry for generations to come.

Forest sector strategy

The forest sector strategy, released in 2020, has set a strong foundation for Ontario’s forest industry. To date the government has accomplished nearly 70% of the goals set by the strategy. As Ontario implements the Roadmap to Protecting Ontario’s Forest Sector, we will continue to build off the accomplishments of the 2020 strategy.
