Special Payments for Dental Services

Special payment

1. (1) A special payment is payable by the Plan to every dental surgeon in Ontario who rendered one or more insured services on or after April 1, 2022 and before April 1, 2024.

(2) The amount of the special payment shall be calculated in accordance with the document of the Ministry entitled “Methodology for the Implementation of the OHIP Dental One-Time Payment under the 2022-2025 Agreement”, dated October 30, 2024 and available on a website of the Ministry.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
