Order in Council 1243/2026

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Levesque Plywood Limited, a corporation existing under the laws of Ontario (the “Company”), desires to continue to operate a forest resource processing facility in Hearst, Ontario (the “Facility”);

AND WHEREAS the Company was assigned a supply agreement numbered 536268 for the supply of Crown forest resources for the Facility, which supply agreement was originally approved by Order in Council 472/2016, dated March 23, 2016;

And whereas the supply agreement numbered 536268 expired on March 31, 2026;

And whereas His Majesty the King in right of Ontario as represented by the Minister of Natural Resources proposes to enter into an agreement with the Company for a supply of Crown forest resources to be made available for the Facility in accordance with sections 24(3)(b) and 25 of the Crown Forest Sustainability Act, 1994, S.O. 1994, c. 25 and in accordance with section 4(ii) of Order in Council 993/95;

Now therefore, pursuant to subsection 25(1) of the Crown Forest Sustainability Act, 1994, S.O. 1994, c. 25, the Minister of Natural Resources is hereby given approval to enter into the supply agreement numbered 536284 with the Company for a term of ten years for a supply of Crown forest resources, being an annual target volume of 248,000 cubic metres, to be made available to the Company for use at the Facility.
