Order in Council 1307/2026

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas:

1. Subsection 8(1) of the Public Hospitals Act provides that the Lieutenant Governor in Council may appoint one or more persons to investigate and report on the quality of the management and administration of a hospital or any other matter relating to a hospital where the Lieutenant Governor in Council considers it in the public interest to do so;
2. The Lieutenant Governor in Council considers it in the public interest that an investigator be appointed for Bruyère Health (hereinafter referred to as the “Hospital”) under the Public Hospitals Act to investigate and report on the governance and financial management of the Hospital and all related issues;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 8(1) of the Public Hospitals Act,

Mr. Gregory Chow

is hereby appointed as an Investigator to investigate and report on the governance and financial management of the Hospital and all related issues.

This appointment terminates on the earliest of February 26, 2027 and the date on which the Minister of Health receives and accepts the Investigator’s final written report.
