On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario has, by an Address presented to the Lieutenant Governor in Council on the 24th day of March, 2026 requested the reappointment of Dr. Kieran Moore as Chief Medical Officer of Health for the Province of Ontario for a five year term, commencing on June 1st, 2026;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 81(1.1) of the Health Protection and Promotion Act,

Dr. Kieran Moore

be reappointed Chief Medical Officer of Health to hold office for a fixed term of five years effective June 1, 2026, subject to the terms and conditions of the Act.

And that Order in Council numbered O.C. 918/2021, dated June 24, 2021 be revoked effective the later of June 1st, 2026 and the date this Order in Council is made.
