s. 49 (2) Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005 (“Act”)

These particulars are posted following the issuance of a Restraining Order against an unregistered career college by the Superintendent of Career Colleges pursuant to s. 46 (1) of the Act.

The Superintendent has ordered Black Tech Entrepreneurship and Career Hub Inc. o/a TECH Academy to stop:
- Offering or providing unapproved vocational programs contrary to subsection 8 (1) of the Act.
The Business offers unapproved IT vocational programs, including but not limited to:
- Business Analysis Accelerator
- AWS Cloud Computing – Solution Architect
- Cybersecurity Accelerator
- Data Analytics Immersion
- ServiceNow System Admin
- GRC Immersion – Cybersecurity
- Advertising unapproved vocational programs contrary to subsection 11 (2) of the Act
The Business advertises unapproved IT vocational programs, including but not limited to:
- Business Analysis Accelerator
- AWS Cloud Computing – Solution Architect
- Cybersecurity Accelerator
- Data Analytics Immersion
- ServiceNow System Admin,
- GRC Immersion – Cybersecurity
- Charging a fee for unapproved vocational programs contrary to subsection 9 (1) of the Act
The Business advertises unapproved IT vocational programs, including but not limited to:
- Business Analysis Accelerator
- AWS Cloud Computing – Solution Architect
- Cybersecurity Accelerator
- Data Analytics Immersion
- ServiceNow System Admin
- GRC – Cybersecurity
Required actions
By April 29, 2026, BlackTECH Hub Inc. is required by the Superintendent to provide written confirmation signed by a person with authority to bind the corporation, together with all available supporting evidence, confirming that they:
- Immediately cease offering and providing all unapproved vocational programs.
The Business is responsible for refunding any students currently enrolled in vocational programs.
- Immediately discontinue all advertising of unapproved vocational programs.
This applies to both digital and physical advertisements, including but not limited to previously posted content on social media platforms.
- Immediately cease charging and receiving fees for unapproved vocational programs.
This applies to all fees for including payments or subscriptions toward unapproved vocational programs
