Brar Truck Training Inc.: Compliance Order 28 October 2019

These particulars are posted following the issuance of a Compliance Order against a registered private career college by the Superintendent of Private Career Colleges pursuant to s. 23(4) of the Act and s. 41(1)(b) of the Ontario Regulation 415/06 under the Act.

Contraventions
The Superintendent ordered Brar Truck Training Inc. to stop contravening the following provisions of the Act or regulations:
- Act, s. 23(4) – Approval required to provide vocational programs
- O. Reg 415/06, s. 41(1)(b) – Qualifications of instructional staff
Required actions
The School was required by the Superintendent to provide written confirmation signed by a person with authority to bind the corporation, together with all available supporting evidence, confirming that they:
- Would provide their Entry-Level Truck Training program in accordance with the Act, the Regulations, and the Class A Commercial Truck Driver Training Standard established by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.
- Would not employ a person to provide vocational instruction unless they met the instructor qualification requirements as set out in section 41 of Ontario Regulation 415/06.
On October 25, 2019, the School provided written confirmation to confirm their compliance.
