Puff Island Provincial Nature Reserve
This revised Interim Management Statement will provide interim direction for the management of the above Provincial Nature Reserve until a comprehensive Park Management Plan is prepared.
This statement will provide the basis for the subsequent preparation of the Park Management Plan.

This nature reserve contains a 9-10.5 metre wide exposure of boulder conglomerate which is interpreted to be the uppermost unit of the Lava Dominated Osler Group. The area is very isolated.
Guideline:
As per N.D.L.U.G., wildlife viewing will be allowed (Appendix I).

Little documentation of Puff Island Nature Reserve has been undertaken to date.
Guideline:
A brief survey will be necessary to update the life science and cultural resource features of the Nature Reserve.
A complete detailed earth science inventory will be conducted when funding and manpower permit.
