Proclamation

Order in Council 1930/2007 directed the issuance of a proclamation in respect of Family Day.

The proclamation, issued on October 12, 2007, declared that Family Day, the third Monday of February of every year, is a holiday, pursuant to the Retail Business Holidays Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter R.30 and of the Legislation Act, 2006, S.O. 2006 c. 21 Sched. F.

It is now desirable to amend the proclamation, and the proclamation is therefore amended by deleting the words “holiday, pursuant to the Retail Business Holidays Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter R.30 and of” and substituting “holiday under”.
