The Government of Ontario, in partnership with Global Affairs Canada, invites you to participate in the Ontario Advanced Manufacturing/Automotive Export Business Mission to CIES: Comunidad de La Industria de Electromovilidad, Electronica y Semiconductor Mexico 2025. (CIES: Electromobility, Electronics & Semiconductor Industry Community).
CIES Mexico, serves as a vital platform for connecting suppliers with buyers in various industrial sectors, particularly in manufacturing and assembly; in collaboration with the Government of Baja California, the show expects to attract more than 500 exhibitors, making a direct link specific purchase request and offers that meet the profile of the purchasing companies. With an additional B2B meetings program, the Mission seeks to identify and make a diagnosis of the current productive capacities of these technological sectors and, in the same way, identify the purchase demand, make the process, and identify the needs that exist in terms of technological supply, as well as market trends. Buyers like BMW, Stellantis, Mercedes, Tesla will be some of the companies participating in the show.
Baja California is positioning itself as a hub for electromobility. The region is seeing increased investment in EV manufacturing and related technologies, driven by both local and international companies Baja California, especially Tijuana, has become a hub for manufacturing due to its proximity to the U.S. This region has over 960 manufacturing facilities. Baja California's strategic initiatives in the electromobility and semiconductor industries present a wealth of opportunities for Ontario businesses. The region is particularly strong in electronics, automotive, and medical devices.
