The Government of Ontario, in partnership with Global Affairs Canada, invites you to participate in the Ontario Advanced Manufacturing/Automotive Export Business Mission to CIES Mexico 2025. (CIES: Electromobility, Electronics & Semiconductor Industry Community).
CIES Mexico, serves as a vital platform for connecting suppliers with buyers in various industrial sectors, particularly in manufacturing and assembly, electronic manufacturing, semiconductor value chain advanced specialize packaging solutions; in collaboration with the Government of Puebla, the show expects to attract more than 2,000 exhibitors from more than 12 countries making a direct link specific purchase request and offers that meet the profile of the purchasing companies. With an additional B2B meetings program, the Mission seeks to identify and make a diagnosis of the current productive capacities of these technological sectors and, in the same way, identify the purchase demand, make the process, and identify the needs that exist in terms of technological supply, as well as market trends. Buyers like Audi and Volkswagen will be some of the companies participating in the show.
Puebla is the only state in the country with an electric vehicle assembly plant, Zacua. Additionally, Puebla will be home to the Olinia electric car company, promoted by the current federal government, generating an increase in production in this state and strengthening the value chain. The region is seeing increased investment in EV manufacturing and related technologies, driven by both local and international companies, This region is part of the main market in Mexico, the Metropolitan Area, and the gateway to the Interoceanic Train that will connect the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean. Puebla's strategic initiatives in the electromobility and semiconductor industries present a wealth of opportunities for Ontario businesses.
