The Ontario Government is organizing a Freight Mobility Innovation Trade Mission to TransLogistica Kazakhstan.
The trade mission will allow Ontario companies to explore new export opportunities and strengthen existing commercial partnerships across Central Asia. As a flagship event of Kazakhstan Transport Week, TransLogistica Kazakhstan, which will take place October 14-16, attracts a diverse international audience involved in freight transportation, distribution, and trade. The trade show, held in Astana, draws more than 300 exhibitors from 21 countries and approximately 6,500 visitors from 49 countries.
Ontario participants will showcase innovative technologies and infrastructure solutions that enhance freight corridors, strengthen multimodal transportation networks, and support the efficient movement of goods across Kazakhstan’s road, rail, port, airport, and warehousing sectors. Backed by significant investments in transportation infrastructure and supply chain modernization, Kazakhstan is seeking solutions that increase operational efficiency, visibility, and automation. It is rapidly emerging as a strategic gateway between Europe and Asia, located at the intersection of major trade routes linking China, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Türkiye, the Middle East, and Europe. Transit volumes in Kazakhstan reached approximately 34.6 million tonnes in 2024.
The trade mission will be relevant to Ontario exporters involved in:
Freight corridor monitoring, traffic management, and route optimization
Commercial vehicle tracking, telematics, and connected fleet solutions
Smart border crossing, customs, and cargo security technologies
Rail traffic and network management systems
Port and terminal operating technologies
Airport cargo technologies
Smart parking and staging systems for commercial vehicles
The mission package will include:
1:1 export advice and consultation
Customized B2B meeting program with potential customers, distributors, and partners and introductions to the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service
Potential group meetings and relevant site visits prior to the trade show (contingent on timing)
Exhibitor space in the Ontario pavilion
Marketing and promotional support through an Ontario delegates’ directory
Access to conference sessions, including potential speaking slots, and networking opportunities
The mission application fee is TBD. Participating Ontario companies must also cover the cost of their flights, accommodation, some local transportation and meals.
