On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

 

Better for Consumers, Better for Businesses Act, 2023

 

July 1, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Better for Consumers, Better for Businesses Act, 2023, c. 23, which amends the Consumer Reporting Act, comes into force:

Correction

This Order in Council, as previously published on e-Laws, contained the following publication error:

The Order in Council was shown as having been recommended by the Solicitor General. In fact, the Order in Council was recommended by the Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement.

This error was corrected on June 10, 2026.
