On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

 

Protect Ontario by Building Faster and Smarter Act, 2025

 

November 3, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Protect Ontario by Building Faster and Smarter Act, 2025, c. 9, which amend the Development Charges Act, 1997, come into force:

 

Schedule 4, s. 4, 6, 9 (2).

Correction

This Order in Council, as previously published on e-Laws, contained the following publication error:

The Order in Council was shown as having been recommended by the Solicitor General. In fact, the Order in Council was recommended by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.

This error was corrected on June 10, 2026.
