On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Homeowner Protection Act, 2024

Order in Council 1023/2025, which named a day on which provisions of the Homeowner Protection Act, 2024 were to come into force, is amended as follows:

1. Paragraph 1 of the Order is amended by striking out “January 1, 2026” and substituting “January 1, 2027”.

2. Paragraph 2 of the Order is amended by striking out “January 1, 2026” and substituting “January 1, 2027”.
