On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

 

Strengthening and Improving Government Act, 2015

 

December 31, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Strengthening and Improving Government Act, 2015, c. 27, which amend the Highway Traffic Act, come into force:

 

Schedule 7, s. 5, 6, 7 (2), 9, 10 (2), (4), (5), 11, 27.

Correction

This Order in Council, as previously published on e-Laws, contained the following publication error:

The Order in Council was shown as having been recommended by the Solicitor General. In fact, the Order in Council was recommended by the Minister of Transportation.

This error was corrected on June 10, 2026.
