Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act, 2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

 

Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act, 2025

 

1. March 30, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act, 2025, c. 4, being the Species Conservation Act, 2025, come into force:

 

Schedule 10, s. 1-67.

 

2. March 30, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act, 2025, c. 4,which repeals the Endangered Species Act, 2007, comes into force:

 

Schedule 10, s. 68.

 

3. March 30, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act, 2025, c. 4, which revokes various regulations, comes into force:

 

Schedule 10, s. 69.
