Building Transit Faster Act, 2020

PRIORITY TRANSIT PROJECTS

This is the English version of a bilingual regulation.

1. The line known as the Hamilton Light Rail Transit (LRT) line, extending east from McMaster University, is prescribed for the purposes of clause (e) of the definition of “priority transit project” in section 2 of the Act.

2. The following extensions to the Hazel McCallion Light Rail Transit are prescribed for the purposes of clause (e) of the definition of “priority transit project” in section 2 of the Act:

1.  The extension connecting to the downtown area of the City of Mississauga in the area known as Square One.

2.  The extension connecting to the downtown area of the City of Brampton along Hurontario Street and Main Street commencing at the intersection of Steeles Avenue and Hurontario Street. O. Reg. 302/24, s. 1.
