Note: THIS REGULATION IS NOT YET IN FORCE. It comes into force on September 21, 2026, the day subsection 4 (1) of Schedule 7 to the Helping Homebuyers, Protecting Tenants Act, 2023 comes into force.

Period of time under s. 57 (6.1) of the Act
1. The prescribed period of time for the purposes of subsection 57 (6.1) of the Act is the following:
1. In the case that the tenant vacates the rental unit on or before the date specified in the notice of termination given by the landlord under subsection 48 (1) of the Act, 60 days after the date specified in the notice.
2. In the case that the tenant vacates the rental unit after the date specified in the notice of termination given by the landlord under subsection 48 (1) of the Act, 60 days after the day the tenant vacates the rental unit.
