Amending O. Reg. 108/11

(Forms)

1. Section 1 of Ontario Regulation 108/11 is amended by adding the following subsections:

(2) A form issued pursuant to Part II of the Act (Commencement of Proceedings for Parking Infractions) may be provided in either English or French or in both languages, whether or not the form shown on www.ontariocourtforms.on.ca is in both languages.

(3) Despite the revocation of Forms 1 to 7 of Regulation 949 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 (Parking Infractions), those Forms may continue to be used, in addition to the Forms referred to in this Regulation, until the day that is one year after the day this section comes into force.

(4) Despite the revocation of Forms 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 of Regulation 950 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 (Proceedings Commenced by Certificate of Offence), those Forms may continue to be used, in addition to the Forms referred to in this Regulation, until the day that is six months after the day this section comes into force.

2. Section 8 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

Notice of fine and due date

8. A notice of fine and due date under Part I of the Act shall be in Form 10.

3. Section 15 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

15. A notice of fine and due date under Part II of the Act shall be in Form 10.

4. Subsections 16 (8) and (9) of the Regulation are revoked.

5. Subsection 17 (4) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Subsections 16 (1), (2), (3), (4), (8) and (9)” in the portion before clause (a) and substituting “Subsections 16 (1), (2), (3) and (4)”.

6. (1) The Table of Forms to the Regulation is amended by striking out,

Commencement

7. (1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3), this Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.

(2) Sections 1 and  2 come into force on the later of the day subsection 7 (4) of Schedule 1 to the Good Government Act, 2011 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.

(3) Section 3 comes into force on the later of the day subsection 7 (8) of Schedule 1 to the Good Government Act, 2011 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
