Amending O. Reg. 237/09
(GENERAL)
1. Subsection 34 (3) of Ontario Regulation 237/09 is amended by striking out “a syndicating credit union or a syndicating league”.
2. (1) Paragraph 2 of section 56 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “credit union” in the portion before subparagraph i and substituting “lead” and by adding the following subparagraph:
vi. A bank listed in Schedule I to the Bank Act (Canada).
(2) Subparagraph 3 i of section 56 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “credit union” at the end and substituting “lead”.
(3) Subparagraph 3 ii of section 56 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “who is a member of a credit union that is one of the lenders in the syndicated loan” and substituting “from Ontario”.
(4) Subsubparagraph 3 iii A of section 56 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Another” at the beginning and substituting “A”.
(5) Paragraph 5 of section 56 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “credit union” and substituting “lead”.
3. (1) Paragraph 2 of section 56.1 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “credit union” in the portion before subparagraph i and substituting “lead” and by adding the following subparagraph:
v. A bank listed in Schedule I to the Bank Act (Canada).
(2) Subparagraph 3 i of section 56.1 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “credit union” at the end and substituting “lead”.
(3) Paragraph 5 of section 56.1 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “credit union” and substituting “lead”.

4. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
